Even though we are waiting on one more confirmation (they are out of country on a mission trip), we feel very confident that we have our cast. Here is the cast of The Pearl of Greatest Price:

Is this a complete cast? Well, no. There are still some issues which could bring on new people. For instance: In the current draft of the script, the detective is removed, but could return; We might still need a reporter cast, depending on the cooperation of a local TV station. There will also be some more specific extras that will be needed, so in the movie credits, this list will no doubt grow.

Thanks again to everyone who auditioned, though you really made this casting a hard thing to do! Now, please pray for these people above - we have a long and tiring shooting schedule to develop!

After a long, long, (waaay too long) time, the cast of the Pearl of Greatest Price has finally been decided. After some final confirmations, the cast will be posted here for everyone to see.

This point comes as a bittersweet moment. There were so many people that deserved to have a role in the movie, but just couldn’t be fit with parts… I even considered writing in some new roles, just to bring some people in. But in the end, I came to realize that wasn’t the right approach… So I had to agonize through drafting a message to those who did not land a role. Believe me - next to making the decisions as to which actor would fit the character best, that was the toughest job for me so far.

To all of you who did not receive a phone call offering you the role: Please, stay connected to the movie! There are still small but critical roles that you could be called on for as we work through the script.

To all of you who got that phone call, congratulations! I look forward to meeting with all of you soon. Please look into your planner and write out your schedule for the period of mid-September through January (yes, I said January!) so we can develop a shooting schedule. You can give us that schedule when we give you the script.

Praise God, we’re moving forward! Pray for us now, as we begin to build the crew and staff behind the movie, and try to raise the money needed to shoot this thing!!!
